Eng Peng Group of Companies (hereinafter, refer to as EPG) had its humble beginnings as a small family-owned layer farm business in 1980. In December 2008 Eng Peng Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (EPH) was incorporated with a portfolio of more than 10 fully-owned subsidiary companies.
Today, EPH as a conglomerate at least within Sabah context through its various subsidiary companies has grown and diversified consistently to be the single largest integrated player in poultry , layer, livestock and trading of imported meat business throughout Sabah.
EPH is constantly looking at business opportunities which are synergistic to its business operations and captive market networks to expends its scope of business for the group to face the exciting challenges ahead.
The market demands for increased quality and higher yields led to ever more efficient upstream and downstream production machinery with high degree of automation. And the group is constantly upgrading itself in, attaining a position as a leading player in the markets.
Since 2005 the group steadily expended its activities through strategic business alliances, business acquisition and takeovers as well as venturing into more products agencies/distributorship through its subsidiary company, namely Salm Marketing Enterprise Sdn. Bhd. for chilled and frozen products and Salam Global Trading Sdn. Bhd. for FMCG dried products.
In complementing the group diversication program and market requirements the group had also incurred enormous budget in both logistics, cold rooms facilities. And recently we had built dry-store warehouses in order to expand our trading activities in selected dried goods complimentary to our captive market.
